What’s meant by statistical analysis?<\/p>\n
Statistical analysis involves collecting, organising and analysing data gathered from a sample. Statistical analysis can be used to identify any trends or prove or disprove certain hypotheses.<\/p>\n
There are two main types of statistical analysis: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.<\/p>\n
Descriptive statistics involves analysing and describing the sample data collected. Descriptive statistics will usually summarise large data with summary tables and charts.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, inferential statistics is used to make generalisations about the broader population.<\/p>\n
